Compliance & Industry Standards

CareOps is built specifically for the UK care sector and is designed to help care providers meet their statutory obligations.
CQC (Care Quality Commission)
The platform supports record-keeping aligned with CQC registration and the fundamental standards, including staff training records, the Care Certificate and ongoing mandatory training, with expiry dates tracked for every care worker. The customer remains responsible for maintaining its own CQC registration and for verifying any applicable professional registration (for example, NMC or HCPC where relevant).
Right to Work
Right-to-work documents (passport, BRP, share code) can be uploaded by the carer and marked as verified by the agency they're connected to, in line with Home Office guidance. We do not independently verify these documents ourselves — see our Terms & Conditions. Records are retained for the duration of the engagement plus 2 years.
DBS and reference checks
DBS check outcomes and reference documents (address history, references, career gaps) are stored against each carer's profile.
Information security
- TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest.
- Row-level security enforced at the database layer.
- Audit log of all admin actions.
- Daily encrypted backups, 30-day retention.
